How to Use:

1. Cleanse: Start with clean hair. (We recommend As I Am Curl Clarity Shampoo or Coconut CoWash.)
2. Apply: Leave hair wet or very damp (do not towel dry). Massage a small amount (about the size of a quarter) into your palms and distribute liberally throughout your hair, from roots to ends.  
3. Detangle: Using a wide-toothed comb or a flexible-bristle detangling brush, gently comb or brush your hair section by section, starting at the ends and working your way up towards the scalp. You can also detangle by carefully finger-racking through your hair.  
4. Add More (If Needed): If you need more product to ease detangling, apply a very small amount. Avoid overusing the product.
5. Style: Proceed to style your hair as usual.

Tips for Best Results:

• Detangle in the Shower: One of the best detangling tips is to comb through your hair while your shampoo lather, co-wash conditioner, or rinse-out conditioner is still in your hair, using a wide-tooth detangling comb.  
• Start Small: Begin with a small amount of product and add more only if necessary. It's a concentrated leave-in, and too much can overcoat your hair.  
• Light Rinse (Optional): If your hair feels over-coated after detangling, a very light rinse will help.
• Follow with Leave-In (Optional): If you prefer to use your favourite leave-in conditioner, you can rinse out the detangling conditioner more thoroughly and then apply your preferred leave-in before styling products. (We recommend As I Am Leave-In Conditioner!)
